Roofing, Siding, Gutters and Concrete in Springfield, PA
Mid-century colonials in Delaware County with a township permitting process of its own.
Springfield Township in Delaware County built up mostly in the mid-20th century, with colonials and split-levels that now sit at the point where original roofing and siding are due for a second or third replacement. Roof pitches are standard suburban shingle roofs, but the age of the housing stock means a lot of jobs here involve dealing with decking issues underneath the old shingles that weren't visible until the tear-off starts.
Springfield Mall and the commercial corridor along Baltimore Pike sit alongside quiet residential streets, and the township's own permitting process moves at its own pace, separate from Philadelphia's or the neighboring townships.
Concrete work here tends toward standard driveway and patio jobs on mid-sized suburban lots, without the tight access issues of a rowhome block or the acreage of the wealthier Main Line properties further north.
